About me
I build decision architectures for clean heat. That means I design evenings, campaigns and advice so that people get from knowing to taking the next step.

Anja Floetenmeyer-Woltmann describes herself as a system accelerator. She is an expert and speaker on strategic communication for the energy transition and climate protection. With more than 30 years of experience, she has played a key role in delivering major projects: she initiated Germany’s nationwide Heat Pump Info Days, and before that worked on the nationwide “Heat Pump Week” campaign for the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action on behalf of the German Energy Agency (dena), with more than 550 events across Germany.
As Managing Director of the Climate Protection Agency Hannover Region, she set up the “Mein Klimacoach” advice campaign, which attracted attention across Germany, and with her team advised the heads of administration of the region’s 21 municipalities, entrepreneurs and residents on technical topics.
Anja connects business, politics and society in cross-media campaigns that not only achieve reach but drive change. Whether an advice campaign, PR for municipal heat planning or a national Heat Pump Week roadshow, she brings the right partners to the table and creates clear messages that reach people simply and directly and, above all, lead them to act.
Anja Floetenmeyer-Woltmann is an appointed member of the European Commission’s Heat Pump Accelerator Platform. She also sits on the advisory board of Heat Pumps Watch (opens in a new window), is an advisory board member of the Lower Saxony Climate Protection and Energy Agency (KEAN) and a volunteer EU Ambassador for the European Climate Pact.

Culture and events
In the 90s I organised what moved Hannover: dance theatre, bands, literature and parties, from 4,000 people in industrial halls to 30,000 on the Opernplatz. Communication, booking and sponsoring went across my desk, and sometimes the contract still arrived by fax before I went on as DJ.
